Phillip Wong, a multi-talented high-profile contemporary Malaysian artists. Born in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia on February 02, 1968. The son of a loving mother, brought up in a single parent family and nature atmosphere. He told his mother he wanted to be an artist since he was 6 years old. “ It was just a little boy’s dream but it was a dream born out of passion for art.“ Studied at Malaysian Institute of Art, Kuala Lumpur, in Commercial Art, in 1990. He received the South Korean Asia Art Award (Grand Prize) in 2007. Awaraded Malaysia Top Fashion Artist-Top 5 Asian 2016 in China and Art Curator of The Year 2019 of STYLO Malaysia Fashion Week. He was a Board Member of the National Visual Development Board, Malaysia (2008-2020). 1996-2020 Particpated group art exhibitionin Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Ipoh, Penang, Korea, Japan, Thailand, China, Dubai, Indonesia.

Phillip for whom subject focusing on the human mind, lives by his philosophy to be just a down-to-earth artist to share the purposes of art and living, and that there is always a solution to every problem and burden. His art work reflects his ideology when he says that everyone is the same and treats no one differently. His first solo in Kuala Lumpur year 2006, second solo was in Seoul 2007 and the 7th solo was on his birthdate 0202 2020, OCEAN: Reflection of The Human Mind, featured paintings and installation art which attempt to bring into play the metaphor of ocean-waters as mirror in which we look at ourselves-in the totality of-past, present and future-our exploits in this planet earth.
